Small-Space Makeover

Functionality is key to loving your small space. Check out this recent transformation of a small kitchen/back entryway that Handy Girl Design completed for a happy client.
In the back entryway portion, I incorporated shoe shelving, coat/bag hooks and a custom fabric-padded tack board for coupons. Two colorful rugs delineate the entry area and keep dirt from tracking further into the apartment. A slim, tall shelf between the stove and fridge keeps spices, vitamins and sweetener on hand for easy access. Adding a pop of colour, a bright yellow Dutch oven transforms the stovetop into a storage space. Personalized wall art completes the look.
